Job Description

Registered Manager - Ofsted

We are seeking a Registered Manager within an Ofsted children's provision within the area of Chorley, Lancashire to join a new 2 bedded home for children with challenging behaviours and backgrounds of trauma.

This organisation are committed to making a difference in the lives of the young people they support, and we are looking for a passionate Registered Manager within Ofsted experience and knowledge to join team in Chorley.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with varying needs.
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with children and young people, and their families.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and progress.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or 5).
  • Strong experience in an Ofsted registered residential setting with vulnerable children and young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
  • Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
