Job Description


Job Title: Waking Night Residential Support Worker
Location: Birkenhead, CH42
Salary: £25,469.34 - £26,768.99 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)
Are you passionate about supporting young people with complex needs? We are looking for a dedicated Waking Night Residential Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care and supervision during the night.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual needs of children/young people as outlined in their care plans.
  • Collaborate with young people, their families, social workers, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, procedures, and best practices.
  • Safeguard the safety and welfare of young people, with their well-being as the top priority.
  • Participate in implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care, health, and education plans.
  • Promote a positive and safe environment that supports the social and personal development of young people.


What We're Looking For:

  • Understanding of the developmental needs of young people, including physical, emotional, intellectual, and social aspects.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection issues and Social Care Services.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to demonstrate sensitivity and understanding.
  • Ability to manage emotional stress and remain flexible in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to motivating yourself and others to meet performance goals.

Requirements:
