Job Description

Job Opportunity: Supported Living Manager (35 hours per week)
Location: Carmarthen

Join our client as a Supported Living Manager, where you'll lead a dedicated group of colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centered support in line with our clients mission and values.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire your team, fostering a supportive and empowering environment for both colleagues and the people they support.
  • Develop creative, person-centered solutions that promote autonomy, choice, and privacy for service users.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to ensure a safe, compliant, and enriching service.
  • Manage team performance, conducting supervisions, appraisals, and regular team meetings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and guide the Assistant Service Manager in overseeing colleagues' performance and development.
  • Commit to personal growth, attending training and development opportunities as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • QCF Level 5 in Care, Promoting Independence, or Health and Social Care.
  • Proven experience in a social care setting, supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards, confidentiality practices, and the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice.
  • Strong IT skills and a full, clean driving license, with flexibility for travel.
