Job Title: HR Shared Services Team Leader
Function: People & Culture

Reports to: HR Shared Services Manager
Salary: £33,684 - £35,457
Location: Hybrid - London office (Monday/Tuesday) & Remote
We are recruiting for a HR Shared Service Leader to work on a 9 month fixed term contract in N7.
About the Role
As the HR Shared Services Team Leader, you will oversee the HR Shared Services team, ensuring an efficient and positive service for managers and employees. You will work collaboratively with the HR Shared Services Manager, Recruitment Manager, and Payroll Manager to provide an integrated shared service. This is a hands-on, high-volume role that requires exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure HR Coordinators provide accurate, efficient, and timely support.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR Coordinators, offering advice and guidance.
- Manage workload distribution, monitor workflow, and drive process improvements.
- Oversee HR administrative processes across the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, terminations, and contractual changes.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners on TUPE transfers and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with DBS, visa renewals, and fixed-term contract processes.
- Ensure accurate recording of HR data on the HRIS system and SharePoint.
- Maintain structured, accessible records aligned with data protection policies.
- Monitor and manage the HR ticketing system (Sunrise) for efficient service delivery.
- Provide first-line HR process and procedure advice to staff and managers.
- Manage long service awards, benefits, and life insurance data with third-party suppliers.
General Responsibilities:

Person Specification
Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 3/5 (Desirable)
- Educated to graduate level (Desirable)
Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Teams, and SharePoint (Essential).
- Strong analytical skills in HR metrics (Desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to challenge where necessary (Essential).
- Negotiation and influencing skills, including working with senior managers (Desirable).
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and delegate effectively (Essential).
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills (Essential).
- Experience in a high-volume shared services environment (Essential).
- Supervisory experience in HR operations (Essential).
- Experience using HRIS systems (Essential).
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices (Essential).
- Proven track record of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving (Essential).
- Ability to generate reports and analyze data for decision-making (Essential).
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders (Essential).
- Experience documenting processes and creating user guides (Essential).
