Job role: Registered Service Manager
Sector: Learning disabilities, positive behaviour support, supported living
Location: Banbury
Hours of work: Full time with shared on call
Salary: c. £39000
Brook Street Social Care is working with an established and well-respected provider to recruit a Registered Service Manager for their Banbury Service.You will be delivering person-centred support, promoting independence ,and supporting your clients to live as independently as possible through the implementation of positive behaviour support plans.
Your duties will be varied and will include:
- Working closely with CQC and external provider. You will be required to register with CQC.
- Staff management, recruitment, mentoring and retention
- Supervisions and Appraisals
- Care Planning, Risk Assessment and reviews, to include positive behaviour support plans
- Compliance and Quality Assurance
- MDT working
- Budget and finance management
To be successful in this role:
- You will have knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centred service (CQC requirements).
- You will be competent at building relationships with key stakeholders including the local authorities
- You will have proven experience as Deputy Manager/Service/Team Manager within Mental Learning Disabilities services.
- Hold a full UK Driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
- Hold the level 5 in leadership and management or be committed to securing this within the first 18 months in the service
