Job Opportunity: Empower and Inspire as a Support Worker!
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours: Full-Time (37 hours/week)
- Salary: £26,210.72 to £29,801.64 (inclusive of shift allowance)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have the empathy and drive to support and empower those with complex needs? If so, a secure all-female children's home in Glinton, Peterborough, invites you to join our dynamic team as a Support Worker.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking self-motivated individuals with:
- Empathy and passion for helping young people through emotional challenges.
- The ability to build positive relationships and support development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including report writing and incident recording.
- Willingness to work alternate weekends, bank holidays, and participate in overnight stays (sleep-ins) on a rota.
- An energetic approach, ready to take part in physical activities.
- Aged 21 or over to meet statutory requirements.
While prior knowledge of child protection or experience in childcare is desirable, we provide comprehensive training to equip you for success.
Shift Patterns
- Early Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Late Shift: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
