Residential Support Worker (CYP) - Waking Nights - Market Harborough (Driver Required)
About Us: I'm seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our team. If you're passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of Children and Young People, we encourage you to apply. This role will be based in a Family Assessment Home, supporting new parents and their newborns. This role is Waking Nights.
I'm looking for applicants who are looking for full-time temporary work. Experience with Children and Young people settings.
Role Overview:
- Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with various needs, including behavioural support, mental health, non-verbal communication, and learning difficulties.
- Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, toileting) while promoting independence and dignity.
- Support clients in daily activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided.
- Waking Nights - You will be working through the night, observing and supporting the residents of this home.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT skills (touchscreen devices, computers).
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Up-to-date medication, moving, and manual handling training.
- Enhanced Adult and Child workforce DBS (update service).
