Residential Practitioner - Short Break/Respite Learning Disability Home

Location: Leeds
Salary: £26,421.00 - £28,770.00 (pro rata for part-time)

About the Role

As a Residential Practitioner, you will:


Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people.
Encourage personal growth, education, and learning.
Work as part of a dedicated team that values your well-being and career development.

About You

You'll bring:


A good level of literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills.
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care (or a willingness to work towards it-we pay the fees!).
Experience supporting children/young people with additional emotional/behavioural needs (through work, volunteering, placements, or personal experience).
Strong communication, teamwork, and emotional intelligence.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and bank holidays.
