Supported Living Manager

Location: Telford, UK

Setting: Supported Living Service for Young Adults (18-30) with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Challenging Behaviour, and Complex Needs

Salary: Up to £40000

Are you a dedicated and experienced Supported Living Manager with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young adults? I am recruiting for an inspiration manager to open and effectively manage a new transition service in Telford, designed to support individuals aged 18-30 with learning disabilities, Autism, challenging behaviour, and complex needs.

About the Role: As the Supported Living Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the new service. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence and enhances the quality of life for your residents. You will be responsible for:

" Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service

" Leading and supporting a team of dedicated staff

" Developing and implementing individualised care plans

" Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

" Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external agencies

Key Requirements:

" Proven experience in a managerial role within supported living or a similar setting
" Strong understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and complex needs
" Excellent leadership and communication skills
" Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
" Ability to manage challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism
" Relevant care management qualification
" Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
