Job Title: Registered Manager - Supported Living Service
Location: NG17
Position Type: Full-time - 37.5 HOURS per week
Salary: 32k to 34k
I am currently working with a reputable organization dedicated to providing high-quality care and support services to individuals within the community. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to oversee our Supported Living Service. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the well-being and independence of our service users while upholding the highest standards of care.
Job Overview:
As the Registered Manager of our Supported Living Service, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting a person-centred approach to care. You will lead a team of dedicated support staff, fostering a positive working environment and empowering them to deliver exceptional care and support to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Management
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Supported Living Service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to maintain efficient service delivery and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and review service provision to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate measures.
Staff Management and Development:
Recruit, train, and supervise support staff, providing guidance, support, and regular performance feedback.
Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning within the team.
Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and appraisals to ensure staff competence and engagement.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including CQC (Care Quality Commission) requirements.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to maintain high standards of care, health, and safety within the service.
Address any issues or concerns promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Person-Centered Care:
Promote a person-centered approach to care, respecting the individual preferences, needs, and choices of our service users.
Work collaboratively with service users, their families, and external professionals to develop and review care plans tailored to their specific requirements.
Advocate for the rights and dignity of our service users, ensuring their voices are heard and their autonomy is respected.
The Ideal Candidate
" Ideally you will have previous experience in a Supported Living or Residential service
" Familiar with CQC standards
" Experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions is preferable
" Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, demanding role
" A strong leader who can lead by example
