Registered Manager-Children's Home

**Please note, this is a brand new facility due to open in the upcoming weeks.**

Location: Salisbury

Full-time position

Salary: £50.000+joining bonus

Brook Street Social Care is recruiting on behalf of a client specialised in supporting children and young people in their every-day activities to create them the opportunity to enjoy life from a young age regardless the challenges they have experienced previously.

The organisation is due to open a brand new Residential Home for Children in Salisbury and they are seeking for a Registered Manager to head up the new home.

About the role:

• Oversee daily staff deployment and operations
• Participate in staff recruitment, monitoring, training, retention, and mentoring processes
• Promote personal and professional growth through appropriate task delegation
• Manage overall operations effectively
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive training plan, including induction, in compliance with the Care Standards Act
• Manage the environment in compliance with Health and Safety requirements, ensuring proper monitoring and documentation
• Safeguard children and young people's health, welfare, and development both within and outside the home
• Foster positive relationships with families, social workers, educators, and other professionals involved in the children's care

About you:

• You must have knowledge about company policies, Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• You must be flexible and participate in the on-call system
• You must have experience with Ofsted
