Job Description

Brookstreet social care is hiring for support workers to work in a residential care home.

Would you like to continue your existing journey working with Adults? Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding community-based care support role helping to change people`s lives? If you answered `Yes,` we would love to hear from you.

You will be playing an important role in providing exceptional support and care for our clients. Daily tasks may include assisting service users, many of whom currently struggle with their mental health, including autism, substance misuse, learning disabilities and complex needs.

A non-judgemental and empathetic approach is vital - we are committed to improve the lives of the most vulnerable.

Responsibilities

" Comply with the company's safety, and well-being of service users.

" Provide an integrated package of support and social care to service users by encouraging further integration into the local community.

" Deliver housing related support, social and personal care - utilising a person-centred approach.

" Support clients when taking medication, as specified in their customised support plan.

" Promote the use of leisure activities and educational facilities, employment and volunteering in local community.

" Complete all necessary paperwork, records, and reports.

" Carry out sleep-in/waking-night duties (occasionally).

" Minimum 6 months of experience in Social Care setting

" Must have the right to work in the UK

" NVQ Level 2 would be preferred but not essential
