Location: Bridgwater Area
Salary: £30,000 - £44,870 + £3,000 Lead Responsibility Payment

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Maths Teacher to drive an engaging and accessible maths curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4. Working within a specialist SEN school, you will lead on maths education, ensuring students with diverse learning needs-including autism, ADHD, PDA, trauma, and SEMH-are supported, challenged, and inspired.

Your Role

  • Lead and deliver an engaging, tailored maths curriculum
  • Support students with complex needs, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles
  • Mentor and collaborate with staff to foster best practices in SEN maths education
  • Implement accredited numeracy qualifications and integrate maths across the curriculum
  • Use assessment data to shape learning pathways and maximise student progress
