Job Title: Senior Practitioner (Interventions Coach)
Location: Leeds
Salary: £27,816 - £28,816 plus Secure Unit Allowance of £2,583
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Contract Type: Permanent

Brook Street Social Care are looking for a Senior Practitioner (Interventions Coach) to support and engage young people aged 10 to 18, helping them develop and thrive in a secure environment.

The Role
As an Interventions Coach, you will:
- Provide 1:1 support for young people with additional learning needs.
- Plan, deliver, and assess learning activities in your specialist subject area.
- Work as part of a team to support the development of young people within a secure environment.
About You
We are seeking experienced, adaptable candidates who can connect with and inspire vulnerable children. You will have:
- Strong IT skills including MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
- Ability to work well in a team and take initiative.
- Experience working with challenging behaviour in a residential or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, restorative practices, and safeguarding.
- Qualifications including 5 GCSEs (C or above) in English and Maths and a Level 4 qualification in education delivery (or commitment to achieve it).
