Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Manage resident check-ins and check-outs, maintaining accurate records.
- Provide support and guidance to residents, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Organise and facilitate community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hostel policies.
- Act as the first point of contact for residents, responding to queries and providing assistance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of common areas and facilities.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall resident experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role or within a customer service environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hostel management.
- First Aid certification is desirable.
- A commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive community atmosphere.
